Our volunteers bring additional skills and new perspectives, enhance the quality of our work and help promote the wellbeing of our residents.
Thank you for wanting to make a difference to people whose lives have been shaped by trauma and disadvantage. By volunteering your time for Homeless Oxfordshire, you will help us to provide an open door to those who need it most.
With your help we can continue to challenge stigma, systems, and discrimination and respond with kindness and compassion to the needs of those who are most marginalised, making a real difference to their lives.
“Volunteering with Homeless Oxfordshire is highly rewarding; it is great to be able to support my local community.”
Volunteer to work with the Homeless Oxfordshire team and help make a difference to those experiencing homelessness
Our Volunteers play a huge part in helping us to provide additional support to staff, and let our clients know that people do care about what happens to them, helping them to feel less marginalised.
Previous Volunteers have said volunteering with Homeless Oxfordshire gave them peace of mind and that they felt they had a positive impact in their local community.
We want to make getting involved as a volunteer with us as easy as possible, so we’ve outlined the five main steps you’ll go through in this document.
See below for more information on the roles we currently have.
